Cookie Policy

Last updated: 30 October 2026

The short version. Airport Ears sets no cookies. It saves a few settings in your browser so the site remembers your choices. There is nothing for advertising or tracking, so there is no cookie banner to accept.

What is saved on your device

These items are created only by your own actions (changing the theme, a switch, or your list) and are used only to make the site work as you set it. They are never sent to me or to anyone else.

Do I need your consent?

Rules such as the EU ePrivacy Directive require consent before a site stores or reads information on your device, with an exception for storage that is strictly necessary to provide something you asked for. The items above remember settings that you chose yourself, and nothing is used for analytics, advertising or profiling. For that reason I do not show a consent banner. If I ever add analytics, ads or embeds that set cookies, I will add a banner that lets you refuse them before anything is stored, and update this page first.

Third-party cookies

The services that deliver the map (Cloudflare, unpkg.com and OpenFreeMap) did not set cookies when I checked on 30 October 2026. Sites you reach through links (such as LiveATC.net, Flightradar24 or Google) have their own cookie policies.

How to remove or block these items

Clear this site's data in your browser settings, or use a private window. The site still works if storage is blocked; it just forgets your choices.
